I was a SOBA student last year and was invited to come back this year to be a part of this year's school.  It didn't take long for me to pray and say "YES" at this amazing opportunity to come alongside students with their journey into the Living Word.  I grew up in the 'church culture' but had never really cultivated an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ, the Father and the Holy Spirit.  I had never studied or really read the Bible until last year. 
Last year God did some major heart surgery on me as He started me on a journey through discovering the Truths of His heart, His Love, His Mercy and His Grace that were found in His Word. 
He showed me my true identity, who I was In Christ, as a new creation.  I came to the school as a girl who carried around shame and guilt from a life of trying to do it "my way" for 25 years.  He wiped it clean the first week (Jan 09) and He's been teaching me who I am as His Beloved ever since.
My Living Testament: Parents- get on your knees and pray for your Children.  God sees and hears every cry.  And remember relinquishment into the Father's Hands is truly the safest place for them. :-)
