For as long as I can remember learning has always been a characteristic that has marked my Dad and Mom. There seem to be stacks or shelves of books in every room of their house; I love that. After graduating high-school, I did not go on to college but instead joined a missions organization for several years. My parents never hinted or made me feel bad for not going to college, but instead trusted I was learning in the place I was at.
Now, as I am quickly approaching 30 I have decided to go to college:) Opportunities to learn and grow are all around you and I; the School of Biblical Action is one of those avenues for myself and our students to learn. I love when our students' eyes light up and they say "I never knew that's what it meant" or "Did you know...?!" or even when they are so tired but still push themselves to take make the most of this time.
For me, I have been learning that the Bible always has something new to teach me, living out what the Bible teaches takes discipline, that God values both my emotions and logic to learn and that teaching others is a deep privilege. I am so blessed to call this my job.
